Meeting of EU Heads of Mission in Stockholm with the Speaker of the Riksdag, Andreas Norlén

On 23 April, a meeting of the Heads of Mission of EU Member States (HoMs) with the Speaker of the Riksdag, Andreas Norlén, was held at the Embassy of the Republic of Cyprus in Stockholm.
The event was organised by the Embassy of Cyprus in Sweden in connection with Cyprus’ Presidency of the Council of the European Union. It provided an opportunity for an in-depth exchange of views on the current political situation in Sweden.
Speaker Andreas Norlén shared his reflections on the closing term of the Riksdag, the upcoming parliamentary elections in Sweden, and the procedure for forming the future government.
His remarks were further enriched by historical references spanning nearly 500 years of Sweden’s parliamentary tradition.
