Spotkanie z delegacją PKO BP

The delegation, led by Piotr Stolarczyk, Vice-President of the Management Board of PKO Bank Polski responsible for international banking, visited Stockholm on 10–11 September 2026. One of the highlights of the visit was a meeting with Ambassador Karolina Ostrzyniewska.

The Ambassador noted that Sweden is a market in which Polish companies are becoming increasingly active, particularly in the industrial and technology sectors. As Poland’s largest bank by assets, PKO Bank Polski intends to support Polish companies in their expansion and in building a strong position in the Nordic markets.

As part of the implementation of the bank’s 2025–2027 strategy and its expansion into the Scandinavian markets, PKO Bank Polski has opened a representative office in Stockholm, headed by Jakob Hansson.

PKO Bank Polski’s presence in Sweden will facilitate the identification of high-value cross-border transactions and provide the bank with a better understanding of local market conditions and business opportunities. In the longer term, this could lead to a decision to transform the representative office into a fully operational branch. PKO Bank Polski is currently also present in Germany, the Czech Republic, Slovakia, Romania, Lithuania and Ukraine.
