National reading of works by Jan Kochanowski in the Embassy of the Republic of Poland in Stockholm

On 18 October 2025, Polish language teachers in Sweden and high school students from the Polish School of Katarzyna Jagiellonka in Stockholm gathered at the Embassy of the Republic of Poland in Stockholm for a joint reading of works by Jan Kochanowski, this year's patron of the National Reading.

Ambassador Karolina Ostrzyniewska and Consul Andrzej Szmidtke welcomed the teachers and all attendees with greetings on the occasion of National Education Day. During the National Reading, elegies, fraszki, and poems by our great Renaissance poet were read aloud.
