Participation of Minister Wiesław Leśniakiewicz in the Second Conference of the "Coalition for Civil Preparedness and Resilience" in Stockholm

On 25-26 November 2025, Mr. Wiesław Leśniakiewicz, Undersecretary of State at the Ministry of Interior and Administration, together with Mr. Zbigniew Muszyński, Director of the Government Centre for Security, took part - at the invitation of Carl-Oskar Bohlin, Minister for Civil Defence -in the meeting of the so-called "Coalition for Civil Preparedness and Resilience" in Stockholm.

During the discussions, participants addressed how to strengthen the European crisis preparedness programme and how to better utilise national civilian resources in line with NATO’s resilience objectives. Representatives of the Swedish Psychological Defence Agency highlighted the importance of psychological preparedness, presenting methods of strengthening public resilience.

The programme also included a session dedicated to civil-military cooperation. General Michael Claesson, Commander of the Swedish Armed Forces, and Mikael Frisell, Director General of the Swedish Civil Contingencies Agency (MSB), presented development plans for Sweden’s total defence system for 2025–2030. During this session, Undersecretary Wiesław Leśniakiewicz presented the Polish perspective and achievements in preventive and communication measures aimed at strengthening public readiness in crisis situations.
