On 25 October, a traditional ceremony was held at Haga Norra Cemetery in Solna, organised by the Congress of Poles in Sweden and the Polish Relief Committee. The ceremony was attended by the Ambassador of the Republic of Poland to Sweden, Karolina Ostrzyniewska, Defense Attaché Colonel Rafał Grzegorkiewicz, and Deputy Consul Andrzej Jach. The Holy Mass was celebrated by priests from the Polish Catholic Mission. Following the prayers, wreaths and flowers were laid at the Cross, and the graves and Memorial Site dedicated to distinguished compatriots, veterans, Polish independence heroes, prisoners of German Nazi concentration camps, and members of the diplomatic corps were visited. The event was also attended by representatives of the Polish School named after Katarzyna Jagiellonka, scouts, and members of Polish community organizations.

On 1 November, Embassy representatives also took part in ceremonies held in Mariefred and Landskrona. In Mariefred, at the resting place of Polish submariners from the vessels ORP “Sęp”, “Ryś”, and “Żbik”, wreaths were laid by Consul Andrzej Szmidtke and Defense Attaché Colonel Rafał Grzegorkiewicz, paying tribute to the sailors who were interned in Sweden in 1939.

That same day, at the municipal cemetery in Landskrona, a ceremony was held at the monument to the “Victims of German Concentration Camps” in remembrance of ten deceased persons - including four Polish children, former camp prisoners who came to Sweden in 1945 as part of the “White Buses” humanitarian operation. The ceremony, organized at the initiative of the Polish Centre “Piast”, which has cared for the monument since 1994, was attended by Deputy Consul Andrzej Jach, a representative of the Association of Polish Organizations in Sweden, representatives of the Catholic Church, and members of the Polish community from the Skåne region.
