On 28 September 2026, the Embassy of Poland in Stockholm welcomed over 70 participants in the 24th academic conference in the "Value Management” series, organised by the University of Gdańsk and the SGH Warsaw School of Economics. First held in 2000, the conference traditionally takes place aboard a Polferries ferry sailing from Gdańsk to Nynäshamn, Sweden.
The delegation was welcomed by Poland’s Ambassador to Sweden, Karolina Ostrzyniewska. Professor Mirosław Szreder presented the University of Gdańsk’s educational offerings, including programmes taught in foreign languages. Dr Erik Wetter of the Stockholm School of Economics shared Swedish approaches to knowledge exchange, including raising the profile of academic research and creating value through collaboration between academia and business.
