Scholarships for foreign scientists conducting research on culture, history in Poland and in Central Europe.

ICC scholarship in Poland

We encourage you to participate in the ICC Scholarship Programme.

It is a programme of the Ministry of Culture, National Heritage and Sport implemented by the International Cultural Centre in Krakow since autumn 2009.

The programme is addressed to EXPERTS conducting research on the culture, history and multicultural heritage of the Republic of Poland and Central Europe. The programme invites researchers involved in the management and protection of cultural heritage, as well as theoretical research in the fields of history, sociology, ethnography, anthropology, etc.

The call for proposals for the first round of the programme may start between 1 November and 15 December of a given year and end between 31 December and 15 February of the following year. Recruitment lasts a minimum of six weeks. The scholarship stay in Krakow in the first round lasts three months and is carried out between the beginning of March and the end of July of the following year.

Recruitment for the second round may start between 1st May and 15th June and end between 30th June and 15th July of a given year. Recruitment lasts a minimum of six weeks. The scholarship stay in Krakow in the second round lasts three months and is realised between the beginning of September and the end of December of the same year.
