The conference provided a valuable platform for exchanging experiences, discussing the role and responsibilities of Honorary Consuls, and exploring ways to further strengthen cooperation and promote Poland internationally. The programme included expert panels, meetings with representatives of Polish public administration, and cultural events, including visits to the Birthplace of Fryderyk Chopin in Żelazowa Wola and the Museum of Modern Art in Warsaw.

Consul Göran Hult described the conference in Warsaw as a successful and valuable initiative, highlighting the high standard of the panel discussions and the opportunity to meet Honorary Consuls from different regions of the world. He also pointed to the active engagement of Polish Honorary Consuls in the Nordic region as an example of effective cooperation and a strong international network supporting Poland’s interests.

Honorary Consuls constitute an important element of Poland’s consular network. In 119 countries around the world, 218 Honorary Consuls support Polish citizens, contribute to strengthening ties with the Polish diaspora, and help develop relations between Poland and the countries in which they serve.
