Working breakfast of ambassadors of the Visegrád Group countries in Stockholm

On 15 July 2026, Ambassador Karolina Ostrzyniewska took part in a working breakfast of the ambassadors of the Visegrád Group (V4) countries accredited to Sweden. The meeting was hosted by the Ambassador of the Slovak Republic, Ľubomír Čaňo, on the occasion of the inauguration of Slovakia's V4 Presidency. The meeting was also attended by the Ambassador of the Czech Republic, Radek Matula, and the Ambassador of Hungary, Péter Palóczi.
Ambassador Ľubomír Čaňo presented the priorities of the Slovak Presidency of the Visegrád Group, which over the coming year will focus on strengthening competitiveness, EU enlargement policy, sectoral cooperation, and the development of people-to-people contacts. He also referred to the successful cooperation between the V4 embassies in Stockholm in implementing joint cultural projects, including a Children’s Day picnic, the latest edition of which took place on 31 May 2026.
The V4 ambassadors also discussed the possible organisation by the Slovak V4 Presidency of joint initiatives in cooperation with the Swedish side.
