National Day of 3 May Constitution in Abu Dhabi

On May 7, the St Regis Hotel in Abu Dhabi hosted celebrations of the Constitution of May 3rd, attended by representatives of the diplomatic corps, media, business and the Polish diaspora. The guest of honour from the UAE administration was the director of the Europe Department at the Emirati MFA. The evening was graced by a performance by a regional band from Silesia – the Silesian Voivodeship was one of the event’s partners. In his speech, the head of the olish Embassy Mr. Grzegorz Gawin emphasised the value of the Constitution for generations of Poles fighting for freedom, and that this experience brings Poles closer to Ukrainians who are currently fighting against Russia’s aggression against their independence.
