New Consular Fees

08.01.2026

Announcement, Polish Flag in the top left corner

On 1 January 2026, a new schedule of consular fees introduced by the Regulation of the Minister of Foreign Affairs of 29 October 2025 will enter into force. The new, higher rates will apply to all applications submitted from that date and will be binding in all consular offices. In practice, the change results in an increase in consular fees of approximately 25-30%. You may access the consular fees schedule here.

Passport fees

As of 1 January 2026, new fees for the issuance of a temporary passport will be introduced:

  • EUR 100 – issuance of a temporary passport outside official office hours,
  • EUR 200 – issuance of a temporary passport on a non-working day.

These services are of an urgent nature; therefore, no additional fee for expedited processing is charged in the above cases. The applicable fee is determined by the date and time of submission of the application, not by the collection of the issued document.

Visa fees

The changes also apply to visa matters:

  • EUR 200 – fee for the acceptance and processing of an application for a national visa, as well as for the re-examination of such an application,
  • EUR 90 – fee for the re-examination of an application for a Schengen visa, harmonised in accordance with the provisions of the Community Visa Code.
