Poland in the UAE

In observance of Easter Monday celebrated in Poland on April 21st, Embassy of Poland in Abu Dhabi will be closed.

The symbol of Polish democratic transformation Lech Wałęsa took part in the Nobel Prize panel during the conference on maintaining peace, and also participated in the Polish Holy Mass.

Head of mission Mr. Grzegorz Gawin has met with Mr. Sulaiman Hakemy, Comment Editor of "The National". The main topic of the discussion were the priorities of the Polish Presidency in the European Union.

The development of economic cooperation was the subject of talks between representatives of the Embassy and the Abu Dhabi Department of Economic Development. Undersecretary in ADDED H.E. Rashed Abdul Karim Al Balooshi and the Head of Mission Grzegorz Gawin agreed on a calendar of upcoming activities in relation to Polish companies on the Emirati market.
