On 20 April we celebrate Polish-French Friendship Day.

The Treaty of Nancy marks the beginning of a new chapter in Polish-French relations.

Signed on May 9, 2025, the document strengthens 🇵🇱🇫🇷 cooperation and designates April 20 as Polish-French Friendship Day. It symbolizes the enduring ties between our societies and our shared vision for the future - a secure, strong, and competitive Europe.

The choice of Nancy as the location for the signing is also highly significant. Associated with King Stanisław Leszczyński, Nancy serves as a reminder of the centuries-old political, social, and cultural connections between Poland 🇵🇱 and France 🇫🇷.

As we celebrate the first Polish-French Friendship Day, we are confident that the strong historical foundations of our bilateral relations, together with our shared vision, will continue to reinforce our friendship and cooperation for the benefit of the citizens of both countries.
