Consul General of the Republic of Poland in Houston

Mr. Jarosław J. Łasiński was appointed Consul General of the Republic of Poland in Houston on march 10, 2025. A career diplomat, he worked for the Polish Ministry of Foreign Affairs for more than 30 years, both in Poland and abroad. 

He started his career as a diplomat working in the Cabinet of the Minister of Foreign Affairs,  and subsequently became Deputy Director of the Consular and the Polish Communities Abroad Department. He has also served as Director of the Legal and Public Procurement Office at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Director of Consular Department.

His diplomatic postings abroad include Washington, D.C., where he worked as Head of the Consular Division of the Embassy of the Republic of Poland, and as Consul General in Chicago. Malmö, Sweden and Los Angeles.

Consul Łasiński is a graduate of the Faculty of Law of the Nicolaus Copernicus University in Toruń, Poland. He also holds a postgraduate diploma in Foreign Studies from the Polish Institute of International Relations in Warsaw, Poland. 
He speaks English and Russian.
