Poland in US

Thirty years ago, on February 15, 1991, the presidents of Poland and the Czech Republic, and the prime minister of Hungary, signed the Declaration on Cooperation between the Czech and Slovak Federal Republic, the Republic of Poland and the Republic of Hungary in Striving for European Integration in the castle of Visegrad, Hungary.

Holocaust Remembrance Day was commemorated with a special video project prepared by the Consulate of the Republic of Poland in Los Angeles, together with the LA Holocaust Museum and the Auschwitz-Birkenau Museum.

Mr. Thaddeus Norman Taube has been appointed the new Honorary Consul of the Republic of Poland in San Francisco, Ms. Susan Eileen Penn is now the Honorary Vice-Consul of Poland in said city, and Ms. Barbara Haider has been appointed the Honorary Consul of Poland in Rancho Santa Fe, CA.

Poland's candidate for the position of Secretary-General of the OECD will present his ideas for the Organization during an online discussion at PISM on November 12.
