State Mining Authority

Investigation commissions are established by the President of the State Mining Authority following major accidents or incidents in the Polish mining industry. Their task is to investigate the causes and circumstances of a specific accident or incident. Upon completion of their work, the commissions prepare a final report containing a detailed description of the accident or incident, together with recommendations aimed at preventing similar events in the future.
