Performs the tasks of the Minister related to organic farming and organic production, registration and protection of geographical indications, national food quality systems, commercial quality of agri-food products, standardisation in agriculture and agri-food processing, as well as the supervision of the Agricultural and Food Quality Inspection insofar as it is not within the competence of other departments.
