    During a visit to New York, connected with the participation in the Summer Fancy Food Show fair, Minister Stefan Krajewski met with representatives of the Polish community in the USA at the Polish and Slavic Center in Brooklyn. In the evening, he also participated in a meeting with representatives of the Polish and European organic food sector. The talks concerned the promotion of Poland, the development of economic cooperation and the possibility of increasing the presence of Polish food on the American market.

    Secretary of State Jacek Czerniak represented Poland during the meeting of the Ministers of Agriculture of the Visegrad Group countries (Poland, Czech Republic, Slovakia, Hungary) as well as Bulgaria, Croatia, Romania and Slovenia (V4+4). The meeting, held on 30 June 2026 in Balatonfüred in Hungary, was dedicated to the key challenges facing agriculture in the Central and Eastern Europe region.

Minister Stefan Krajewski opened the Polish national stand organised by the Ministry and met with representatives of Polish companies and business partners.

    On 25-26 June 2026, Secretary of State Jacek Czerniak visited Paris, where he attended, among others, the meeting of the Polish-French Joint Committee on Agriculture. The event was an opportunity for dialogue on strengthening the strategic partnership between the two countries in the agricultural sector.

    On 22-25 June 2026, Secretary of State Małgorzata Gromadzka paid a visit to the Arab Republic of Egypt. The objective of the visit was to support the mission of cereal sector entrepreneurs to Egypt, organised by the National Support Centre for Agriculture. There was also a discussion on the conditions of access to the Egyptian market for other agri-food products from Poland.

    The visit to Podlasie paid by the EU Commissioner for Agriculture and Food Christophe Hansen to Podlasie was held at the invitation of the Minister of Agriculture and Rural Development Stefan Krajewski. The major point of the event was the participation in the 7th National Field Days in Szepietowo and talks about the future of the Common Agricultural Policy (CAP) post-2027, food security and support for young farmers.

    Greater flexibility for the Member States, simpler regulations for farmers and the preservation of the common nature of the CAP were the main topics of the second day of the EU Agriculture and Fisheries Council's session. The Ministers also talked about the progress of work on further regulations for agriculture, including solutions empowering farmers in the food supply chain.

    Deputy Minister Jacek Czerniak chaired the Polish delegation during the first day of the EU Agriculture and Fisheries Council's session in Luxembourg. The Ministers talked about the future of the Common Fisheries Policy, financing the sector post-2027, decarbonisation of the fishing fleet and the European Ocean Pact. Poland stressed that the new regulations should support fishermen, strengthen food security and respond to the specific situation of the Baltic Sea.

    Further development of cooperation in the agri-food sector and expanding trade were the key items of the agenda of the meeting between the Secretary of State Małgorzata Gromadzka and the Ambassador of the Arab Republic of Egypt to Poland. The discussions focused primarily on the resumption of exports of cereals and opening the export opportunities for products of animal origin to the Egyptian market. In 2025, the value of the Polish agri-food exports to Egypt increased by 18 percent and exceeded EUR 104 million.

The Commissioner held the meeting with the farmers, representatives of the dairy sector and high-quality food producers at the invitation of the Minister of Agriculture and Rural Development Stefan Krajewski. The Undersecretary of State Adam Nowak also attended the event.
