During the meeting in the Korean Parliament, the Polish party raised one of the key demands – acceleration of the access procedure of access for Polish beef to the Korean market.

– I am pleased with the prospect of increasing access of Polish products to the South Korean market, including increasing the export of Polish food. We will work on it, for the benefit of both parties – said Prime Minister Donald Tusk.

Currently, we are on the fifth of eight stages of the procedure. The Polish delegation requested the Korean parliamentarians for their support in that matter.

– I have good news for Polish farmers. The work on unlocking the market for Polish beef lasted five years Now, the President of Korea, the Prime Minister and the Speaker of the National Assembly promised that this work would be accelerated. I hope that Polish beef will soon be shipped to South Korea – emphasised Minister Krajewski.

Another step is the visit of the government delegation to Japan.

The Korean market – a promising market for Polish exporters

For several years, the export of agri-food products to the Republic of Korea has been showing an upward trend. In 2025, it reached the value of EUR 106 million. However, Poland records a very large deficit in overall trade with the Republic of Korea. Access for Polish beef to the Korean market would allow to reduce the disparities in bilateral trade.
