Mrs. Magdalena Pszczółkowska

Mrs. Magdalena Anna Pszczółkowska was appointed Consul General of the Republic of Poland in Toronto, on October 1, 2021.

A career diplomat, she worked for the Polish Ministry of Foreign Affairs for more than 15 years, both in Poland and abroad. Mrs. Pszczółkowska has gained her professional experience by performing a number of positions at the headquarters of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and initially at the Ministry of Finance in Warsaw. She was Head of Section at the Director General’s Office at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs (2014-2016), and Deputy Director of the Department for Cooperation with the Polish Diaspora and Poles Abroad (2016-2017).

Her diplomatic posting abroad include Paris, where she worked as vice consul (2009-2014), and as Deputy Director of the Polish Institute in Brussels (2017-2021).

Consul Pszczółkowska is a graduate of the Faculty of Political Science with a double diploma from the Silesian University in Katowice and the Institut d'Etudes Politiques de Bordeaux in France. She also graduated from the National School of Public Administration in Warsaw.

She was awarded the silver medal "Reipublicae Memoriae Meritum" by the Institute of National Remembrance for her merits in commemorating the history of the Polish Nation.

She speaks English and French.

Consul General Pszczółkowska is married with two daughters.
