Mr. Andrzej Emeryk Mańkowski
Andrzej Emeryk Mańkowski, born December 2, 1968 in Warsaw.
He graduated from the University of Warsaw Faculty of History (Department of Ethnology and Cultural Anthropology). He has authored numerous scientific papers on historical awareness, national and ethnic identity and genealogy.
His professional work has focused on the area of social communication – his duties during his work at an advertising agency included realisation of contracts with the Government Information Centre (Chancellery of the Prime Minister) during the implementation of Poland’s four system reforms as well as with the Ministry of Foreign Affairs Promotion Department. He has also worked as a managers in the Corporate Communication Department of TP S.A. (France Telecom Group), in the Warsaw City Promotion Office, the Institute of National Remembrance and the Adam Mickiewicz Institute, a national cultural institution responsible for the promotion of Polish culture abroad.
His international experience includes work for UN peace missions in East Timor (UNTAET 2001) and Sierra Leone (2002) and participation in OSCE election monitoring missions in Bosnia and Herzegovina (1996), Kosovo (2000), Ukraine (2004), Belarus (2006) and Georgia (2008).
He is married and has three children.
