National Helpdesk for REACH and CLP

National Helpdesk for REACH and CLP has been established pursuant to Article 124 of  Regulation (EC) No 1907/2006 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 18 December 2006 concerning the Registration, Evaluation, Authorisation and Restriction of Chemicals (REACH), establishing a European Chemicals Agency (abbreviated to REACH Regulation), and Article 44 of the Regulation (EC) No 1272/2008 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 16 December 2008 on classification, labelling and packaging of substances and mixtures (abbreviated to CLP).

Tasks:

The key task of the Helpdesk is to provide advice to manufacturers, importers, downstream users and any other interested parties on their respective responsibilities and obligations under the provisions of REACH and CLP regulations.

This task is delivered through:

  • Providing answers to questions submitted by phone, email or via www.reach.gov.pl and www.clp.gov.pl
  • Organisation of seminars, trainings and ‘open doors’ events for the interested parties 
  • Cooperation with other National Helpdesks for REACH and CLP within HELPNET, the EU network
  • Cooperation with the European Chemicals Agency Helpdesk
  • Cooperation with other national entities that are active in the field of REACH and CLP regulations.
