Chopin concert at Løvehave Koncerter Festival

Great Polish pianist Szymon Nehring performed in Sorø at the Løvehave Koncerter festival on 21 August.

During the concert in Sorø, Szymon Nehring played beautiful pieces by Frederic Chopin and French composer Claude Debussy.

Szymon Nehring is one of the most talented pianist of the young generation. As the only Pole he won first prize in the Artur Rubinstein International Piano Competition in Tel Aviv. Nehring is also a finalist in the 17th Chopin Competition.

The concert was held as part of the Løvehave Koncerter festival initiated by Ida Nystad and Magnus Wenzel Most, pianists and graduates of the Krzysztof Penderecki Academy of Music in Kraków.

The Embassy of the Republic of Poland in Copenhagen was a partner of the concert, conducted within celebration of  the Year of Polish Romanticism.
