Enhancing cooperation between Polish and Danish contemporary art museums

At the turn of September and October, Holger Reenberg, director of the Museum of Contemporary Art HEART in Herning, participated in study visit to Poland.

The study visit took place during the Warsaw Gallery Weekend, an annual festival of contemporary art presenting the most interesting and current phenomena of the Polish art scene. Director Reenberg visited fifteen exhibitions of Polish artists, including Zachęta National Gallery, Museum of Modern Art in Warsaw and the Museum of Art in Łódź.

The purpose of the visit was to strengthen Polish-Danish museum cooperation and to present the Polish contemporary art scene.

The project was organized by the Polish-Danish association Kultur(a) and the Polish Embassy in Copenhagen.
