The band Hizbut Jámm, which consists of musicians from Poland, Burkina Faso and Senegal, is inspired by the trance music of West Africa. The band presented its culturally rich repertoire at a Danish festival of folk and experimental music on the Fanø island.

During the festival, guitarist Raphael Roginski also played a separate duo concert with Danish musician P.O. Jørgens.

The Fanø Free Folk Festival has been organised since 2010. Every year, the organisers invite musicians representing the Polish folk scene. Performers at the festival include Karolina Cicha, the band Księżyc and Sutari.

The Embassy of the Republic of Poland in Copenhagen was a partner of Hizbut Jámm's concert at the Fanø Free Folk Festival.
