Poland in Denmark

On 27 October the Embassy of the Republic of Poland together with the Copenhagen Business School organized an online discussion on post-pandemic EU economic policy.

The situation in Belarus was the main topic of the webinar organized by the Embassy of the Republic of Poland in Copenhagen together with the Danish Foreign Policy Society and the Embassy of the Republic of Lithuania in Copenhagen on 27 October.

On 26 October the Embassy of the Republic of Poland together with the Confederation of Danish Industry organized a webinar on Polish energy and climate policy and Polish-Danish cooperation in this field.

The MFA organised a series of expert panels and an information and promotional campaign under the slogan “UN Week” to mark the 75th anniversary of the establishment of the United Nations Organisation.

In September 2020 the Polish Ministry of Climate adopted new guidelines of the Polish Energy Policy 2040. The plan for green transformation of Poland is very ambitious. It includes the expansion of the wind sector and investments in solar energy, increasing energy efficiency and decarbonisation of heating. These and other topics were the subject of a webinar and a briefing at the Embassy of the Republic of Poland in Copenhagen on 24 September.

On 23 September 2020 at 12:00, KSAP-Lech Kaczyński National School of Public Administration, will host the 10th Edition of the Prof. B. Geremek Lecture Series.

The development of local sea ports in Poland and Denmark and new sea connections in the South Baltic area was discussed by the representatives of the Gdynia Maritime University, the Vordingborg port, the Mukran port in Germany and the Polish Embassy in Copenhagen.

On 15 September 2020 Ambassador Henryka Mościcka-Dendys concludes her diplomatic mission to the Kingdom of Denmark. In her farewell video she takes stock of the last five years in Polish-Danish relations and expresses her gratitude for excellent cooperation to all partners of Poland’s Embassy in Copenhagen.
