On 15 August 2020 we solemnly celebrate the 100th anniversary of the Battle of Warsaw – a culminating point of the Polish-Soviet War (1919-1920) and one of the most decisive events in the history of Poland, Europe, and the world.

One of the most important anniversaries of today’s free Europe. The Polish-Bolshevik war was a founding moment for modern Poland and a crucial moment for the entire Europe, even though the awareness of this may be insufficient. It was the real clashing point of two diverse civilizations.

Below we publish the statement of the Institute of National Remembrance in relation to the article by President of Russia Wladimir Putin “The Real Lessons of the 75th Anniversary of World War II”

Please note that from Monday, June 15th the access to the embassy building located at Richelieus Alle 12 will be limited due to renovation works on the sewer system in the whole Hellerup district.

Starting from Saturday, 13th of June 2020 the obligatory quarantine will be lifted for both citizens of Poland and residents of EU countries. All EU citizens will be able to enter the territory of Poland as the temporary restrictions introduced in March will be lifted.

From 20 May 2020 the obligation to cover mouth and nose in public is lifted, cinemas, theaters and other cultural institutions reopen and it is possible to organize events up to 150 participants.
