Below we publish the statement of the Institute of National Remembrance in relation to the article by President of Russia Wladimir Putin “The Real Lessons of the 75th Anniversary of World War II”

Please note that from Monday, June 15th the access to the embassy building located at Richelieus Alle 12 will be limited due to renovation works on the sewer system in the whole Hellerup district.

Starting from Saturday, 13th of June 2020 the obligatory quarantine will be lifted for both citizens of Poland and residents of EU countries. All EU citizens will be able to enter the territory of Poland as the temporary restrictions introduced in March will be lifted.

From 20 May 2020 the obligation to cover mouth and nose in public is lifted, cinemas, theaters and other cultural institutions reopen and it is possible to organize events up to 150 participants.

Adam Mickiewicz Institute is building an interactive digital garden inspired by the works of Poland’s famous composer Krzysztof Penderecki. „Penderecki’s Garden” will fully bloom in November, but already now all users get the chance to watch how it grows.

As of 16 May 2020 the group of those who will be exempt from quarantine when entering Poland has been extended.

Seventy five years after the end of the Second World War, we pay tribute to its victims. We remember the indomitable struggle of the Polish nation against Nazi Germany throughout the conflict in Europe, lasting from September 1939 to May 1945.

On 4 May 2020 the obligatory quarantine is being lifted for cross-border business travelers entering Poland from Germany, Czech Republic, Slovakia, Lithuania, Sweden and Denmark.
