19.03.2023British historian Roger Moorhouse gave a lecture on the 1939 September campaign to the participants of the Historiske Dage history festival, which was held on March 18-19 in Copenhagen.

23.02.2023Prime Minister Mateusz Morawiecki met with Danish Prime Minister Mette Frederiksen in Copenhagen on 23 February. During the talks, bilateral topics were discussed, as well as issues related to European security and support for Ukraine.

17.09.2022World War II started on September 1, 1939. The Third Reich, unprovoked and without any notice, started their invasion of Poland. One of the first acts of war involved the gunfire oriented at Polish ammunition warehouse at Westerplatte. The “Schleswig-Holstein” battleship that had arrived in Gdansk with an allegedly peaceful visit opened fire at the Polish soldiers.
