The screening of "I never cry" at the East by Southeast festival

The film "I never cry", directed by Piotr Domalewski, had its Danish premiere as part of the 9th edition of the festival of Central and Eastern Europe cinema “East by Southeast.”

The film "I never cry", directed by Piotr Domalewski, had its Danish premiere as part of the 9th edition of the festival of Central and Eastern Europe cinema “East by Southeast”.

As part of the festival, which started on 15 November, interesting and thought-provoking films depicting the social and cultural situation from the CEE region are shown. On 17 November, the Danish audience could watch the film "I never cry" by Piotr Domalewski telling a universal story of many contemporary Polish families torn between the need to maintain family ties and economic emigration in a pursuit of a better life.

The introduction to the screening was conducted by Mr. Jesper Andersen, the festival coordinator, and Mr. Jarosław Galuba, the public and cultural diplomacy officer at Polish Embassy. The screening was attended by a large group of cinema enthusiasts and guests invited by the Embassy.

The film "I never cry" was presented in cooperation between Polish Embassy and the Danish Film Institute, the organizer of the East by Southeast festival. On 5 December, at the Cinemateket “I never cry” will be shown once again.
