“The Sound of Danish-Polish Film" cultural event

Inspiring examples of Danish-Polish cooperation in the sphere of cinematography, film music and sound were presented as part of the two-day cultural event “The Sound of Danish-Polish Film” (”Lyden af dansk-polsk film").

The films screened as part of the event were: 

"Hunger" directed by H. Carlsen with music by Polish composer K. Komeda. The introduction to the film was made by an outstanding Danish director and poet Jørgen Letha in a conversation with journalist Esben Tange.

The Oscar-winning "Ida", a picture by P. Pawlikowski with music by K. E. Andersen and sounding by Claus Lynge. The screening was accompanied by a lecture by Polish film producer Ewa Puszczyńska.

The documentary film "Kredens", referring to the events of March 1968, directed by Jacob Dammas, with a live performance by accordionist Martin Bennebo and cellist Lisa Nyeng.

The event was accompanied by a networking of artistic circles from both countries and the tasting of Polish and Danish specialties.

“The Sound of Danish-Polish Film" took place on 21 and 22 March in the cinema Vester Vov Vov and artistic space Musikhuset København.

The initiator and organizer of the event "The Sound of Danish-Polish Film was JDMedia / Jacob Dammas. The Embassy of the Republic of Poland in Copenhagen contributed as a partner of the event.
