The discussion centered on the security situation in Europe and coordination of allies’ efforts as part of NATO, the EU, and the OSCE. The participants discussed the steps taken recently by the international community, including the Renewed Dialogue initiative launched by Polish OSCE Chairmanship on 8 February this year. They also talked about various scenarios and actions to be taken in the upcoming days.

The deputy foreign minister, who represented Poland’s OSCE Chairmanship, summarised recent developments and focused on the lack of de-escalation, or a break-through, in diplomatic activity aimed at reducing tensions in Europe. He hoped for further coordination of discussion on European security among all countries of the Euro-Atlantic area and the participation of all OSCE countries in the Renewed Dialogue initiative. The participants also discussed the potential measures to be used in case of further escalation.
