MFA advises against all travel to the Republic of Belarus

Due to increased tension and war events in the region, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs advises the Polish nationals against all travel to the Republic of Belarus. If the security situation deteriorates dramatically, the borders get closed, or other unforeseeable situations occur, departure may become very difficult if not impossible.

Two Polish border crossings for passenger traffic are currently operational: Bobrowniki–Berestovitsa and Terespol–Brest. There is also one other operational border crossing, designated for cargo traffic only: Koroszczyn (Kukuryki)–Kozlovichi.

If you are staying in Belarus, you absolutely should:

 • register in the Odyseusz system,

 • follow the MFA messages posted on the social media profiles of Polish missions and on websites,

 • be prepared to quickly leave your whereabouts,

 • prepare and keep at hand the most important documents for yourself and your family members,

 • have the cash required to provide for the basic necessities once the need to leave arises.
