Minister Rau to visit Birmingham

On Monday, 4th July 2022, the head of Polish diplomacy and this year’s Chairman-in-Office of the Organization for Security and Co-operation in Europe (OSCE) will take part in the 29th annual session of the Organisation’s Parliamentary Assembly.
Minister Zbigniew Rau will start a meeting of the Committee on Political Affairs and Security devoted to Russia’s aggression against Ukraine and the humanitarian crisis.
During his visit in Birmingham, the top Polish diplomat will also meet with the President of the OSCE Parliamentary Assembly Margareta Cederfelt and Polish assembly members.
The OSCE Parliamentary Assembly, which was established in 1992, is mainly tasked with facilitating inter-parliamentary dialogue, strengthening security and co-operation in three dimensions: polito-military, economic and environmental, and human rights.
