Minister Sikorski thanked Chad's foreign minister

During today's telephone call, Poland's top diplomat Radosław Sikorski thanked Foreign Minister Mahamat Saleh Annadif for help with releasing the Polish kidnapped doctor. Minister Sikorski also appreciated the efforts and courage of Chadian soldiers, gendarmes, and members of other services involved in this brilliant operation.
The foreign ministers of Poland and Chad also briefly took stock of bilateral relations, placing emphasis on the participation of the Polish continent in the EUFOR Chad mission (2008-2009) and expressing interest in dialogue within international organisations. The head of the Polish MFA stressed that Poland values Chad as a stable and reliable partner, especially given the difficult international environment in the Sahel.
