The head of Polish diplomacy underlined that Poland is interested in developing cooperation with Israel, particularly in science, technology, security, and youth exchange.

The top diplomats also discussed the situation in the Middle East, also in the context of the Warsaw Process developments. Minister Ashkenazi thanked for Poland’s contribution to international efforts to stabilize the region, including the return of Polish contingent to the UNIFIL mission in south Lebanon.

The foreign ministers also declared their willingness to maintain regular contact and enhance cooperation in specific areas once the COVID-19 pandemic is over.

The conversation was held upon Israeli initiative.
