The main topic of discussion during the video conference was a political support for the draft Council conclusions on the opening of accession negotiations with Northern Macedonia and Albania. Poland was represented by the Minister for European Union Konrad Szymański.

Ministers unanimously adopted the draft enlargement conclusions. Political decision opens the possibility of its approval by EU leaders during Thursday's video conference.

Coordination activities related to the COVID-19 pandemic were also discussed during the meeting. Ministers underlined that at this stage it is necessary to work on activities mitigating the socio-economic impact of the COVID-19 crisis.
