Meeting of the Committee of Permanent Representatives with the President of the European Council

Ambassador Andrzej Sadoś participated in the meeting of permanent representatives of EU member states with the President of the European Council Charles Michel.

The meeting was a build up to a videoconference of EU heads of state and government on taking further steps in the fight against the COVID-19 pandemic.

Leaders' discussion will focus on priority topics such as reducing the spread of the virus, providing medical equipment, promoting vaccine research, repatriating EU citizens, and responding to the socio-economic consequences of the pandemic.

The video conference of the members of the European Council is scheduled for Thursday, 26 March.
