Poland in the EU

EU-Africa relations, promoting and protecting human rights in the world, and the effectiveness of the Common Foreign and Security Policy were the main topics at the Foreign Affairs Council meeting in Brussels. For the first time the FAC meeting was chaired by the new EU High Representative for Foreign and Security Policy Josep Borrell.

Organized at the conference center of the Permanent Representation of the Republic of Poland to the EU, the event was an opportunity to debate ways to achieve the very ambitious long-term goals for the EU's climate policy, which will need immediate development of new instruments, including financing, in order to effectively support the transition, especially in the most affected regions and Members States. The event gathered many experts and was opened by the Permanent Representative of the Republic of Poland to the EU Andrzej Sadoś.

On the 101st anniversary of Poland regaining its independence, Permanent Representative of the Republic of Poland to the EU Andrzej Sados organized a commemorative reception, whose honorary guest was the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Poland, Mr. Jacek Czaputowicz. Among the numerous guests in attendance there were the highest-ranked representatives of the EU institutions and of the diplomatic corps.

Organized at the conference center of the Permanent Representation of the Republic of Poland to the EU, the event was an opportunity to debate the European space policy and the benefits of developing this industry for Polish and European competitiveness. The event gathered many Aerospace sector experts and was opened by the Permanent Representative of the Republic of Poland to the EU Andrzej Sadoś.

During today's meeting in Brussels, the ministers discussed Russia's aggression against Ukraine, the situation in the Middle East, as well as in Venezuela, following the recent presidential elections in that country. On the sidelines of the meeting, the ministers met with Turkish Foreign Ministry chief Hakan Fidan.
