Prime Minister Mateusz Morawiecki appointed Anita Czerwińska as the Secretary of State at the Ministry of Family and Social Policy and the Government Plenipotentiary for Social Economy.

On 1 June 2022, Prime Minister Mateusz Morawiecki appointed Anita Czerwińska as the Secretary of State at the Ministry of Family and Social Policy, and, at the same time, as the Government Plenipotentiary for Social Economy. Minister Czerwińska will be in charge, inter alia, of designing solutions for the social and professional reintegration of persons at risk of social exclusion and of implementing social services.

Anita Czerwińska

Born in Warsaw, she is a social activist, organiser of independence and patriotic celebrations, politician, lawyer, graduate of the Faculty of Law and Administration at the University of Warsaw. She is a Member of the Labour Protection Council.

She is a Member of the Sejm of the eighth and ninth terms, chair of the Poland-North Macedonia Parliamentary Group, deputy representative of the Delegation of the Sejm and the Senate of the Republic of Poland to the NATO Parliamentary Assembly, member of the Polish-Italian Parliamentary Group and of the Poland-USA Parliamentary Group. She acts as a chair of the European Union Affairs Committee, deputy chair of the Standing Subcommittee on the Conference on the Future of Europe. She is a Member of the Committee on Liaison with Poles Abroad, the Social Policy and Family Committee and the Standing Subcommittee on Persons with Disabilities in the Sejm of the ninth term.
