Anna Schmidt-Rodziewicz is new Deputy Minister of Family, Labour and Social Policy

Anna Schmidt-Rodziewicz, formerly the plenipotentiary of the Prime Minister for international dialogue, became a new deputy minister of family, labour and social policy and government plenipotentiary for equal treatment.

The new Deputy Minister of Family, Labour and Social Policy and Government Plenipotentiary for Equal Treatment Anna Schmidt-Rodziewicz was born in Jarosław. She is a sociologist and a graduate of the Faculty of Social Sciences of the Catholic University of Lublin. She was the secretary of state and the plenipotentiary of the Prime Minister for international dialogue.

A member of the Sejm of the 8th and 9th term, a member of parliamentary bilateral groups (Polish-Lithuanian, Polish-French, Polish-Israeli), the vice-chairman of the Polish-British group. The chairwoman of the Committee for Liaison with Poles Abroad, a member of the Committee for Social Policy and Family and of the Permanent Subcommittee for Disabled Persons in the Sejm of the 8th term.

In 2014–2015, Anna Schmidt-Rodziewicz was a councillor of the Assembly of the Subcarpathia Province; the chairwoman of the Committee for Education, Culture and Physical Education; a deputy chairwoman of the Committee for Health Care, Family Policy and Social Policy. A member of the Museum Council of the National Museum of the Przemyśl Land in Przemyśl.

A teacher, a state and local government civil servant. A social activist, a co-organiser of charity initiatives. A pianist by hobby – Anna Schmidt-Rodziewicz is a graduate of the State School of Music.
