Family 800+. call for applications for the new benefit period starts on February 1

On February 1 this year, the call for applications for the new benefit period under the Family 800+ programme will start, which will last until June 1 this year. Applications can only be submitted electronically.
From February 1 this year, parents and carers will be able to apply for childcare benefits under the Family 800+ programme for the new benefit period, which will run from June 1, 2024 to May 31, 2025.
How to make an application?
Applications for benefit payments will only be possible electronically. There will be four channels available to parents and carers:
- Emp@tia portal of the Ministry of Family, Labour and Social Policy
- PUE ZUS platform
- mZUS mobile application
- electronic banking
The monthly benefit is paid in the amount of PLN 800 and is paid for each child until they reach the age of 18. It is implemented regardless of the family's income.
Important dates
The date of payment of the benefit depends on the date of submission of a correctly completed application. Parents and carers who apply between February 1 and April 30 this year will receive the money by June 30 this year. If the application is submitted in May, the Social Insurance Institution will pay the money until July 31, 2024, with an offsetting amount from June.
The processing of the application for the granting of child benefit by ZUS is done electronically. The granting of the 800+ benefit is exclusively in non-cash form, to the bank account indicated by the applicant.
