– We are on the eve of launching another governmental programme supporting families – Family Care Capital – said the Minister of Family and Social Policy Marlena Maląg during a press briefing. – Applications can be submitted from the beginning of January.

Another PLN 3 billion will go to children

Family Care Capital is granted to parents of at least two children aged between 12 and 36 months. Parents will be able to receive the amount of PLN 12 thousand for two years – PLN 500 a month, or for a year – PLN 1 thousand a month. – During this time, there will be a possibility of changing the method of payment once – said Minister Maląg.

The programme will be handled by the Social Insurance Institution, electronically, via the Platform of Electronic Services (PUE), Emp@tia or electronic banking, just as it is in the case of the Family 500+ benefit. Payments will be transferred to the bank account.

– This is another support for families and an investment in human capital – said Minister Marlena Maląg. She added that the programme should also contribute to changing the unfavourable demographic situation, by making it easier for parents to reconcile their work and family life.
