Family picnic in Chorzelów with participation of Minister Maląg

On Thursday, Minister Marlena Maląg presented new pro-family policy solutions during a family picnic in Chorzelów, Podkarpacie. This includes the Family Care Capital, which is one of the most important assumptions of the Polish Order. The draft law is already ready.

- We know how important it is for parents - including future and potential parents - to take care of their youngest children," stressed Minister Marlena Maląg.

We keep our word

Family Care Capital is PLN 12,000 for a second and subsequent child to be used between the child's 12th and 36th month. The parents themselves will decide whether they want to receive PLN 1,000 per month for one year or PLN 500 per month for two years.

- We keep our word. Poles, Polish families, can be sure that this declaration contained in the Polish Order will be fulfilled - declared Minister Maląg. The bill will soon go to public consultation.

Podkarpackie Good Start

The head of the family ministry also reminded that on 1 July the call for applications under the "Good start" programme started. It is 300 PLN for a school starter kit for each child in education.

- There is still some time until September, but it is not worth delaying - the sooner the application is submitted, the sooner the money will reach your account, argued Minister Maląg.

In total, between 2018 and 2020, these were PLN 4 billion for 4 million 400 thousand children. In the Podkarpackie Voivodeship alone, almost PLN 230 million went to over 250 thousand children. More than half of the funds from the "Good Start" programme go to families living in rural areas.

Minister Maląg also met with children from the day camp at Baranów Castle.
