During the weekend convention entitled „Programme Hive of Law and Justice”, President Jarosław Kaczyński announced that from the new year the „500 plus” child-raising benefit would be increased to PLN 800.

The increased child-raising benefit will continue to contribute to improving the situation of Polish families – commented Minister Marlena Maląg.

Minister Maląg assured that at the same time all other programmes: inter alia, „Mother 4 plus”, „Toddler plus”, „Good start”, Family Care Capital” would be implemented all the time.

The rules for granting the benefit will remain unchanged. It is granted to all children under the age of 18, regardless of the family’s income. Currently, it is used by more than 6.5 million children.

The versatility of this programme is its strength – added Minister Maląg.
