III National Holiday “Thankful for Polish Farmers”. Festival of Harvest with Minister Marlena Maląg

The III National Festival “Thankful for Polish Farmers” was held on Sunday, September 13th in Pólk near Bralin (Wielkopolskie Voivodeship). The festivity took place along with a family picnic. The event was attended by Prime Minister Mateusz Morawiecki, Minister of Family, Labour and Social Policy Marlena Maląg and the Minister of Agriculture and Rural Development Jan Krzysztof Ardanowski and the Minister of Sport Danuta Dmowska-Andrzejuk.

The official part of the event was preceded by a Holy Mass at the Sanctuary of the Mother of God of Pólko near Bralin, held by the Archbishop Stansiław Gądecki.

After the mass, the festival procession led by the Prime Minister, as well as the representatives of the Church, government and the local government moved towards the stage, where the participants could enjoy, among others, the performance of a harvest ceremony by the Poligrodzianie Folk Dance Group.

During the event, Prime Minister Mateusz Morawiecki awarded the 100‎th Anniversary of Independence Orders, while the Minister Jan Krzysztof Adranowski awarded the Orders of Merit for Agriculture.

Meritis pro Familia

The Minister of Family, Labour and Social Policy Marlena Maląg awarded the Meritis pro Familia awards.

Meritis pro Familia is an honourable badge of recognition awarded to natural persons, as well as organisations and institutions for merits regarding the matters related to the family section of government administration.

The agenda also included an artistic section involving the participation of folk groups from the Greater Poland region. Country housewives’ associations presented their offer on the exhibition stands.

The Ministry of Family, Labour and Social Policy invited the youngest participants of the Sunday celebrations to play in the dedicated family area.
