Unit description:
The Legal Department is responsible for ensuring the provision of legal assistance to the Minister and the Ministry and for the legislatively and legally correct preparation of draft laws and drafts of other normative acts, drafts of uniform texts of normative acts other than laws, and for the preparation of materials for meetings of the Council of Ministers, the Standing Committee of the Council of Ministers and the Social Committee of the Council of Ministers, as well as for carrying out the tasks of direct service to the Minister and the Ministry's management resulting from cooperation with the Polish Parliament (Sejm and the Senate of the Republic of Poland), and for monitoring the fulfilment of obligations imposed by Parliament.
