The Minister of Family and Social Policy, Marlena Maląg, and the Deputy Minister, Stanisław Szwed, took part in the first meeting of Ukrainian refugees’ issues special staff.

The main goal of the staff is to prepare systemic solutions for supporting refugees from Ukraine, in particular in the field of education, health and social policy. The refugee staff consists of twelve people, six of whom are representatives of the government side and six represent the local government.

The government side is represented by: The Minister of Family and Social Policy, Marlena Maląg; Janusz Cieszyński, the Government Plenipotentiary for Cybersecurity; Deputy Minister of Health Waldemar Kraska; Deputy Minister of Education and Science Dariusz Piontkowski and Secretary of State in the Ministry of Funds and Regional Policy - Małgorzata Jarosińska-Jedynak.

The local government is represented by: The vice-president of Warsaw, Renata Kaznowska; the Marshal of the Lubuskie Voivodeship, Elżbieta Polak; the starost of Poznań, Jan Grabkowski; the head of Terespol, Krzysztof Iwaniek, and the mayor of Proszowice, Grzegorz Cichy. The Ukrainian refugees’ issues special staff was established on April 27 this year, at the Joint Commission of the Government and Local Government.
