- Our priority is to help the Ukrainian citizens who have arrived in Poland after the Russian aggression against Ukraine find a job - said Minister Maląg at the following meeting of the government and self-government team for the war refugees from Ukraine. Deputy Minister Barbara Socha also attended the meeting.

Having been appointed on 27 April, the team is currently preparing systemic solutions for supporting the Ukrainian refugees, in particular in the area of education, health care and social policy.

As many as 106 thousand people are already in employment.

Minister Marlena Maląg informed that according to the latest data more than 106 thousand Ukrainians who have arrived in Poland during the last months are already in employment.

The poviat employment offices have been provided with funds for implementing such activation programmes like language courses, while the diploma recognition procedure has been simplified to enable people to pursue their acquired profession.

Another tool for job seekers is underway.

Minister Maląg reminded of the e-work application and the central database with over 80 thousand job offers.

 - We are working on another online tool that will contribute to matching employers with job seekers and specific job offers with individuals - said Minister Maląg.

Most of those arriving in Poland are women with children. Minister Maląg pointed out that the special statute allows to start own business, including the creation of children's clubs or daily care centres.
