Minister Marlena Maląg with the Economic Personality of the Year 2022 award

In the competition by the Federation of Polish Entrepreneurs, Minister Maląg was awarded in the category of public administration “for constructive dialogue, taking the demands of entrepreneurs into account, including persons with disabilities, and effective legislative solutions including increasing the possibility for employers to provide food benefits to their employees”.
I perceive this award as an expression of recognition for the government’s economic policy and appreciation for efforts to strengthen the position, security and competitiveness of Polish enterprises – stressed the Minister of Family and Social Policy, Marlena Maląg, when thanking for the Economic Personality of the Year 2022 award.
In her letter addressed to the organisers, Minister Maląg thanked for having awarded her with this award, indicated that she perceived it mainly as an expression of recognition for the economic policy consistently pursued by the United Right government. Among the activities for Polish entrepreneurs, she mentioned the adoption of the Constitution for Business, tax reliefs or the introduction of new flexible forms for business activities.
She also pointed out that the government had passed the most important test during the COVID-19 pandemic. At that time, “thousands of companies and millions of jobs” have been saved.
The best evidence of these activities is the record-breaking low unemployment rate and the fact that international bodies rate our economy high – concluded the Minister.
